Why Bezos Doesn't Care

You have to realize that Bezos doesn't care if he ruins the Post. He doesn't care if its value goes to zero. He is worth somewhere around $200 billion. He paid $250 million for the Post. That is less than 1% of his net worth. For example for someone worth $2 million that would be like losing $2,500. 

Now he is in a position where the Post could hurt him or help him with Trump. He could lose real money if Trump was mad with him and decided to hurt any of his real businesses. So he is going to use the Post to help Trump and try to get Trump to like him - the integrity of the Post be damned. He could care less if the Post is ruined. 

I know some colleagues are aghast at what is happening but aren't sure how bad it will get. Some have already left but others are waiting to see where we wind up.
